Incubatoredu

INCubatoredu gives students an opportunity to experience entrepreneurship by creating their own business. Every class is assisted by a coach or mentor who will guide teams of students through the program and assist with tasks related to washable feet insoles, or social applications; Students have plenty of opportunities to test out ideas while employing lean management principles.

When teams of students progress through the curriculum students learn improve and develop the ideas of their startups through the exploration of ideas and customers, market research, developing prototypes, pitching and building. This process helps develop the ability to communicate and solve problems and teaches students how to quickly adjust to changing conditions.

Each year, teams participate in the INCubatoredu National Pitch to compete in the search for funding to start their startup companies. It is referred to as a"shark-tank"-style competition and provides valuable occasions for teams to meet with investors.

INCubatoredu offers teachers and students an opportunity to build lasting bonds that go beyond classroom walls, impacting colleges or careers as well as the communities that go beyond the walls of the classroom.
